VOCABULARY ACTIVITY:  CHOOSE FROM THE WORDS BELOW TO FILL IN THE BLANKS.  (Careful:  some words may need to be modified...either verb endings or noun / adjective endings.)

1.) arouse=to stir up, excite      2.) chaos= complete confusion / disorder     3.) depict= to show / describe / portray

4.) bombard= attack with bombs        5.) cram= to fill with more than can be easily held

I am sure all of you  have noticed that on our school corridor there are paintings scattered around the walls.  Have you noticed which famous painting this is?  If you haven't noticed, these scattered paintings put together form the well know painting by Picasso "Guernica".  Below are some questions "Did you know?" .  Once you have answered the questions, then go to page 85 in your students book and do Activity 2.1 which is a puzzle for you to put together.  Read the instructions carefully.
